LQSA - Apron current status and works on the removing of the existing and drawing new horizontal markings according to new parking solution

  1. INTRODUCTION
The current status of the apron with the changes that occurred as a result of the passenger terminal extension and the platform extension to the east side for an additional 4 parking spaces (for aircraft with code letter C) is shown in Figure1. Actual situation.

ln the coming period, work is planned to remove the existing horizontal markings from a larger part of the apron to allow for the drawing of new horizontal markings in accordance with the new parking solution on the apron.

The works are planned for the period April-May 2025. Check NOTAMs for the appropriate operational impact.

The new horizontal markings that will be in place after the completion of the works is shown in Figure 2. lndex chart/Pregledna karta. Please note that Figure 2. lndex chart/Pregledna karta is only indicative, and the INS coordinates of the PRKG PSNs will be published in a NOTAM PERM later.

Therefore, all information regarding the AIP chart LQSA AD 2.24.02-1 Aircraft Parking/Docking Chart - ICAO and LQSA AD 2.8 point 5 is temporarily suspended.
  2. OPERATIONAL IMPACTS
The PRKG PSN where works will be carried out will be CLSD to all TFC during works. TWR directions and marshaller (follow me) guidance shall be followed for entering / exiting from any of aircraft PSNs.

Occasionally, some parking stands will not have any markings for a certain period after the old markings are deleted, so it is mandatory to follow the instructions of the marshaller.

Any subsequent impacts will be published by NOTAM.
  3. PRECAUTIONS
During the work of removing old and drawing new horizontal markings, pilots are advised to be aware of the presence of work areas that are marked with adequate markings and/or protected by adequate work barriers.
  4. INQUIRIES
    Inquiries related to operational changes: Airport Duty Manager - 0400 - 2400 (0200 - 2200).
