1.3.1   BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA DIRECTORATE OF CIVIL AVIATION (BHDCA) CHARGES
According to the Decision amending the Decision on the amounts of fees to be paid by aircraft operators per transported departing passenger and per tonne of transported goods/cargo departing from airports in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of BIH, No. 89/24), Decision on the amounts of fees to be paid by aircraft operators per transported departing passenger and per tonne of transported goods/cargo departing from airports in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of BIH, No. 20/23 and 88/23) shall not apply in the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 March 2025.
Decision on the amounts of fees to be paid by aircraft operators per transported departing passenger and per tonne of transported goods/cargo departing from airports in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of BIH, No. 20/23, 88/23 and 89/24) shall apply from 1st April 2025 as follows:
Aircraft Operators shall pay to *BHDCA charge of:
  • per transported passenger departing from Bosnia and Herzegovina airports in the amount of 3 BAM.

1.7   EXEMPTIONS FOR PASSENGERS AND REDUCTIONS
  1. transit and transfer passengers;
  2. passengers with free and chartered tickets, marked as ID 00 and ID 90 tickets;
  3. DHC crew;
  4. children up to 2 years old (INF);
  5. passengers on flights with military call signs;
  6. passengers on state flights, and
  7. passengers on flights registered as transport for own purposes.
  • per transported passenger departing from Bosnia and Herzegovina airports in the amount of 3 BAM.

Except:

  1. transit consignments of goods/cargo;

2.1   LANDING OF AIRCRAFT
Maximum permissible take-off weight allowed as specified under the regulations of the State in which the aircraft is registered.

  • Charges for technical landings, reversal and ferry flights are 50% of the basic charge;
  • Charges for test and training flights (each touch and go) are 25% of the basic charge;

  • Charge for the unannounced flight is higher for 25%.

2.2.4.2   CARGO AIRCRAFT
Per each started metric ton on the basis of the MTOW - 22.00 EUR.
2.2.4.3   LIGHTING
The lighting charge is 40% of the landing charge.
For training and test flights during the night the airfield lighting is to be charged at the actual costs.

2.3   PASSENGER SERVICE
The passenger service charge for each departing passenger in domestic air traffic is 7.50 EUR.
The passenger service charge for each departing passenger in international air traffic is 15.00 EUR.

2.7   EXEMPTIONS, REDUCTIONS AND SURCHARGES
2.7.1   EXEMPTIONS
Exempted from charges are:
  • infants up to age of two;
  • passengers holding free tickets (ID 90, ID 00);
  • direct transit passengers;
  • employees of Mostar Airport Ltd.
2.7.2   REDUCTIONS
The handling charges for passenger aircraft are reduced for the following charges:
  • 50% of the charge in case of technical landing;
  • 25% of the charge for test and training flights;
  • 75% of the charge for empty leg;
  • 75% of the charge for reversal flights;
  • 50% of the charge for the flight cancelled within 24 hours of announced arrival or departure time.
2.7.3   SURCHARGES
The handling charges for aircraft are to be increased for:
  • 25% for handling of announced flight;
  • 25% for handling on days of national holidays and on Sundays;
  • 25% for handling of aircraft announced within 24 hours;
  • 25% for repeated part of handling or complete service, upon the users request.
Charges shall be only simultaneously increased for a maximum of 50%. When waiting for aircraft outside operation hours, 230.00 EUR per hour of waiting is to be charged. Minimal unit rate is 30 minutes.
